Sowinski Sullivan is the architect responsible for documenting architectural improvements to the existing gate D1 within PHL International Airport. The design of the space includes a new paint finish for the existing walls, ceiling, exposed structure, exposed ductwork, and exposed curtainwall frame within the terminal space. SSA is working with PHL to select new tiles to be utilized for replacement of existing accent floor tiles, and documenting the replacement in kind of existing window film within the gate. This project is being coordinated with parallel projects documenting improvements to the gate seating, customer power amenities, and lighting.
