QUALIFICATIONS
Andre DeBar is a Principal Architect at Sowinski Sullivan. He is an alumnus of the University of Virginia and Yale University and is a LEED Accredited Professional. In his almost 30 years of experience, he has worked on a wide range of projects from institutional, commercial, governmental, and residential to complex mixed-use high-rises and institutional master plans. He has also worked in all phases of planning, design, and construction from master planning, programming, and predesign work through construction administration and project closeout. His expertise includes managing and coordinating project teams with a problem-solving and personable demeanor, refining designs to enhance aesthetic integrity while also achieving cost-effective results that meet the clients' requirements, and having a thorough knowledge of sustainable design and construction practices. He is a member of the firm's Quality Assurance Committee and a technical advisor.
